Many students in the past have asked if they are eligible to join AITP even if they are an undergraduate or a student not in the Information Systems and Operations Management program. The answer is yes! All UF students in good standing are welcome to join AITP. AITP would benefit anyone who is interested in information technology.

If you are interested in joining AITP, you will need to submit your dues to Ms. Patricia or Ms Jennifer in ISOM dept office in Stuzin 351, or bring your dues to any of our information sessions and give them to the AITP board member present. National Membership in AITP is $35 annually. The events our chapter organizes though are part of our local chapter. The local chapter dues are $25 per semester. Our local chapter dues help cover the cost of our information sessions, meetings, the AITP Mixer, and other activities.

All ISOM Graduate and Combined Degree Undergraduate students have their national dues paid for by the ISOM department as part of the orientation. Local chapter dues are not paid by the ISOM department and will need to be paid to attend events.

Once you have paid your dues, all you have to do is participate! Check out our Current Activities to see when we are having our next meeting and what you can do to get involved in AITP. We also suggest that you join the AITP listserv to keep up-to-date with AITP events.
